I LOVE my job. There is not a single day I wake up and think " I don't want to go to work today." Call me corny, but being a teacher was really meant for me. The kids can drive me absolutely crazy, but at the end of the day I know it will be worth it. From the time they enter my room on day 1 until the day they leave for 6th grade, they grow so much. I am so proud of all my students, past and present, and I am thinking about all of them that are taking a TAKS test tomorrow.

I have an obsession with collecting pens. I buy a pack every time I go to the store. I have an unimaginable collection. The worst part is that I dont get rid of any. I even have baggies with old pens because I can't get rid of them.  It also really upsets me when someone walks away with my pen or my students steal them. I think I have a sickness!?!? Do I need help?

I am afraid of dogs. I love mine, but other dogs make me nervous. Even little ones. When I was little I got chased by three weenie dogs and they were biting my legs and bootie. I have been scarred now for life! I have recently noticed that I am also afraid of cats. They freak me out when they stare at you . OoOoh.... Creepy!

Random Fact #23

I am addicted to Tivo. I LOVE it! My life would not be the same without it. I tivo all of my favorites and then some. I refuse to watch anything live anymore. I like to fast forward through all the commercials, pause it when something chaotic is taking my attention away from the tivo.  The best part is that I don't have a lot of time to watch TV so when I do have time- I get to watch what I want when I want.  My Dad jacked with tivo the other day and I could not get it to connect back and download program information- I panicked! I had to work on it for two hours to figure out that the phone cord went out and was so relieved that it was not broken. I am a Tivo junkie ( :

Random Fact #24

I have an obsession with doing laundry. It is my absolute favorite chore. Sometimes I do it when I dont even need to. I look for things to wash to make a load. There is something very soothing for me about laundry- I cant explain it. Very weird I know. There is nothing better than the scent of fresh laundry!

25 random things countdown!

I have been reading everyone's 25 random things on Facebook and really enjoying them. It really started me thinking on what all I would put on my "random" list so I decided I would do them one at a time so I can really think about them. Plus it will give me something to blog about so here goes......



Random fact #25

I really love NASCAR! I am not a true fan because I don't watch every race- but when I do I cannot leave the TV. I have this fantasy (don't laugh) that one day I will be a NASCAR wife, you know marry a driver. My favorite parts of the race are before the race when they all stand next to their cars with their wives and children and when they get to victory lane and kiss their wives. In fact, I watched the race last week and there are a few good prospects that appear to need a good woman by their side. I could step in at any time. I already warned David and he thinks I am crazy, but if a driver ever comes my way- we'll have to see.....

The Bachelor

It has truly been a while since I have gotten so into the Bachelor. I really think it is because he is more of a real person and he is a divorced dad and knows what he wants. Let me just say- he is so darn cute! David says he looks like a turtle but I think he is jealous. I hope he picks Melissa from Dallas, not because she is from here, but because she is so sweet. Commercials over and he is about to pick the final two! Blog you later!
