Teacher Prayer

Dear Lord,

Bless these teachers mightily
as they seek to teach, enrich and guide
Your precious children.
Grant them abundant resources to do their job,
intelligence, wisdom, sensitivity, kindness,
and the material things that make it possible
to turn some of these tender green plants
into the strong, stable trees that will lead our nation,
to transform some of these buds into brilliant flowers
that will bring light, color and happiness
to all who encounter them,
and to give every one of them the tools
to be creative, and productive and to develop
their own kind of success in the world.
Lord, wrap Your loving arms around these teachers
who give so much of themselves to grow our youth
into creative, responsible adults.
We pray that You will immerse them
in your boundless, transcendent love.
We pray that You will strengthen and soothe them
when they have given so much of themselves
that they need Your extra attention, Your extra care.
We love, respect and admire these teachers, Lord
and we pray that you will watch over them always--
these special people who hold our children
and our future in their hands.
Amen.

Living Room

A few pictures of the living room. It looks much better in person! Our entertainment center broke in the move so we are "borrowing" this record player as a TV stand from my Granny. When we opened it we found records of my mom's that have Dan + Bev written on them from the 70's. We got a kick out of that!

Fun with the Littlejohn girls!

This summer my cousin Jaime went to New York and I had the pleasure of keeping Presley and London during the day. They got to spend the night on Friday night and we had a BLAST! We colored, played Webkinz, went shopping, went swimming, got maincures/pedicures, watched movies, and went to Incredible Pizza (all of this was throughout the week not the day they stayed the night). After they left David said "I thought that would make me not want kids, but it was a lot of fun." There may be hope for us folks!

By the way- I HATE my camera. I loved my first Kodak but this one bites! I am looking for a reasonably priced but GOOD camera. Most of the pics are of London because Presley and David ran off the play the "big games" - I LOVE both of those girls!!

House Pictures

Over the next couple of days I will post some pics of the house. I have been waiting until all "moving" evidence was gone, but we're still working on it. I am taking a class this week everyday and am super drained- so I will do my best!!

Here is the spare bathroom ......

My favorite part is my flip-flop rug, but I forgot to get a picture of that!

Pics from Father's Day

I never posted the pictures of Dad and his gift on Father's Day. I have been trying to get my siblings to go in on this with me forever! Mom said he doesn't really want one of those! But................

as you can see he was pretty happy!

Happy Birthday to Jackson

Baby Jackson

Today is Jackson's 5th birthday! I cannot believe how time has flown. I still remember looking at that picture posted in our lounge thinking "I don't need a dog." I brought him home in October after being "talked into it" with the promise that I could return him if I wasnt allowed to keep him (since I was living at my parents and David wanted a BIG dog after we got married). The day they brought him to me at work he was in a basket with his baby blanket and baby (both of which we still have) and the rest was history. I was pretty afraid to face my Mom but by the next morning she was calling him her grandpuppy and the rest was history. After taking one look at his baby face - I fell in love! Here are some random pictures of the last very blessed five years!
